Where BillionArc Began

A platform born from a simple but urgent question: why do so many talented Indians leave, and how do we change that?

BillionArc Management LLP was founded with one belief at its core: India doesn’t have a talent shortage, it has an entrepreneurship infrastructure gap. For decades, capable, driven individuals have been leaving the country, migrating abroad in search of opportunity, stability, and recognition.

Our founder, Shamsher Singh, with 31+ years of deep BFSI experience, saw this pattern repeat itself across communities, families, and professions. He saw BFSI professionals selling products they didn’t fully understand to clients who trusted them completely. He saw Army families, after years of selfless service, becoming targets of financial misselling. He saw young people with real potential choosing migration over building something at home.

BillionArc was built to address all three. It is a mentorship and entrepreneurship development platform, not an investment scheme, not a franchise model, a structured space to learn, grow, lead, and create lasting value on Indian soil.

The Professional Journey

With over three decades embedded in India’s Banking, Financial Services & Insurance sector, Shamsher Singh has seen the industry from every angle — as a practitioner, a mentor, a critic, and a builder. His career spans roles across product distribution, advisory, team leadership, and business development, giving him a ground-level understanding of what works, what doesn’t, and what genuinely harms people.

He has worked with and guided professionals across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and beyond — building teams, structuring processes, and mentoring individuals who went on to build their own enterprises.

The Mission That Drives

His founding philosophy stems from a frustration he couldn’t ignore: India produces exceptional talent, but fails to retain it. Young people migrate abroad not because India lacks opportunity, but because they lack access to mentorship, structured frameworks, and the confidence to create their own path.

Simultaneously, he witnessed a troubling pattern in BFSI — professionals misselling products to clients who trusted them, and entire communities (particularly Indian Army families) being systematically misled about their financial options. BillionArc was built to address both.

Philosophy of Mentorship

He does not teach theory — he teaches from a career’s worth of lived experience. His mentorship model is built around Learning by Doing: real-world exposure, accountability structures, and guided decision-making. He believes every individual who commits to growth deserves access to the kind of mentor most people never get.
